Coached - netball

Our goal is to overcome barriers for local netballers in accessing high quality training programs. In doing so, we aim to create the next generation of netballers who possess a great understanding of the physical requirements to play our favourite game at the highest level possible.

Netball is a tricky sport to prepare for; brutal impacts on the legs slamming on the breaks, landing hard, changing direction and accelerating – all on a hard surface. Then there’s the throwing and rotating, the contact and the collisions. We’re not surprised there are so many ankle, knee and shoulder injuries, but there’s far more that you can be doing than resting, chucking a brace and some tape on and carrying on as normal. A well structured strength and conditioning program should be your first line of defence against future injuries, guide your rebuild from niggles and act as a springboard for your performance.

We realise thats there’s plenty of netballers looking to do the right thing, but they just don’t know where to start. COACHED Netball has been developed to provide access to elite level physical preparation systems to local athletes. We have used our experience and understanding of the game to develop all encompassing programs which consider every detail to provide you a structured block of training, gradually taking you from building a base in the off-season to to performing at your peak in-season. You’ll develop capacities through on court and gym based training to enhance your ENDURANCE, ACCELERATION, POWER, BALANCE, AGILITY, and most importantly RESILIENCE TO INJURY.

We want to do far more than hand you a program and let you run with it. All of our exercises come with video demonstrations from one of our coaches, and are accompanied by educational resources which allow you to understand your training and overall preparation. 

Are you seeking even more? Our premium package includes tailored meal plans, modified programs to suit your injury history and specific goals, weekly coach catch up’s and targeted rehab to get you back playing should you sustain an injury. 

Being a COACHED Netball athlete isn’t just receiving ‘HIIT’ sessions to get you fit, core sessions or even booty builders. Being a COACHED Netball athlete is committing to a holistic approach to actually improving your performance on court.

The team behind this program have an extensive background in netball at all levels, managing or working in local and state team fitness departments as well as developing the next batch of talent coming through the state development pathways. We have all completed post graduate university studies, the combination of our knowledge and experience ensures that we are able to deliver the ultimate program to improve your performance.
