Whilst completing his Honours degree in 2013, Chris started the RAD Centre from his backyard single-car garage in Mount Clear, before moving to RAD 2.0 in Redan then RAD 3.0 in Wendouree to now RAD 4.0 at Selkirk Stadium. Chris has spent time working with a wide variety of elite athletes from the AFL, VFL, WNBL, NBL 1, NAB League, and Netball Victoria just to name a few. Chris has a passion for empowering athletes to improve their performance and wellbeing. Outside of RAD, Chris is busy spending time with his wife, two kids and some say the best RAD employee their dog Jimmy.

Originally from Warrnambool Tim relocated to Ballarat for his studies. Tim began working at RAD in 2017, whilst completing his Masters in Strength and Conditioning. Tim has been the High-Performance Manager at the GWV Rebels and has spent time working with the Melbourne Storm, Victorian Men’s Cricket Team and Ballarat City FC. Tim loves to coach and is very particular in the way he does this to ensure each athletes gets the most out of their time at RAD. Away from RAD, Tim enjoys following his American Sports Teams and spending time with his Fiancé and twin boys.

Shane has over 10 years of experience as a physiotherapist working in clinics across Ballarat and joined the RADcentre when completing his internship in strength and conditioning in 2022. Shane has a particular interest in hamstring strains injuries and lower limb rehabilitation and return to sport and enjoys taking athletes from the treatment table to the gym-floor and beyond. Outside of the RAD you will find Shane spending time with his wife and sons.
Michelle Ryan

Michelle has been working as a dietitian for more than 10-years and is currently registered with Dietitians Australia and Sports Dietitians Australia who are the leading voices in nutrition and dietetics in Australia. Michelle has spent time lecturing at Federation Uni on the topic of nutrition and is the sports dietitian for the Westvic Academy of Sport. Michelle loves working with individuals and teams to help develop nutrition skills and strategies that help individuals achieve performance, rehab and wellbeing goals. When Michelle isn’t talking food and nutrition she is generally out and about doing hikes or bike rides with her partner, or you could find her putting together beautiful flower arrangements.
Holly McEldrew

Upon completing her Physiotherapy degree Holly began working within private physiotherapy practices in Ballarat, before moving to RAD in 2022. Holly is currently the Head Physiotherapist for the GWV Rebels NAB League Team and was a part of the medical team at the Melbourne International Judo Competition working with Olympic and Commonwealth games athletes. Holly is currently undergoing her Masters of Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy as well as ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach accreditation. She has a special interest in lower limb injuries and working with the adolescent population. When Holly isn’t at RAD you can find her playing netball for Redan or hanging out with friends and family as well as her favorite dogs Max & Margot.
SARAH PERKINS

Sarah began at RAD as a placement student whilst she was completing her Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science at Deakin before moving into full-time employment at the beginning of 2022. Sarah is an elite dancer and spent 15 years specialising in ballet and contemporary, moving across Australia to be the very best she could. Sarah has a strong interest in optimising movement and training for performance across all athletes and is currently completing her Masters of Strength and Conditioning. Away from RAD Sarah teaches dancers in Ballarat or she can be found adventuring with her partner and dog Theo.

Paula has more than 18 years of experience as a physiotherapist across Ballarat and was the very first Physio to join the RAD in 2021. Paula is currently the Australian U/23 men’s wheelchair Basketball team physio and has worked with the Ballarat Miners Men’s and Women’s program as well as junior athletes from Victorian State Basketball, Netball, Football and Gymnastics teams as well as elite junior runners. Paula has vast experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of sporting injuries in all age groups. Her passion is getting people back on the court or field as soon as possible. Paula will focus on what your body can do, not what it can’t. Away from the RAD Paula enjoys spending time with her Husband, three daughters and three Cavoodles Max, Millie and Macy.
Caitlin Farr

Caitlin started at RAD in the internship program in 2022 before accepting a coaching position whilst she continues to study a bachelor of Physiotherapy at ACU in Ballarat. Caitlin has a strong interest in injury rehabilitation/ injury prevention and training to increase performance. Away from RAD and study commitments Caitlin plays netball for Redan and enjoys spending time with her partner and friends.

Liam joined RAD as a part of the internship program in 2020 and has since been a coach with RAD team. Liam is currently completing an Honours in Exercise and Sport Science at Federation University, in partnership with Yale University, which will see him work alongside the Yale Football team and its staff as part of the project. Liam has a passion for sport, which extends to both his professional and personal life. He has experience working as the Strength & Conditioning coach for the Ballarat Swans Football Netball Club and the St. Patrick’s College Rowing Program. Outside of coaching, Liam enjoys sprinting and further developing his interest in everything strength and power.

Isaac began at RAD in 2019 as part of the internship program whilst completing his Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Federation University. Isaac is currently the High-performance manager for the GWV Rebels Coates League Boys Team and the Vic Country U/16 state academy squad. Isaac is currently completing his Masters of Strength and Conditioning at La Trobe University. Isaac has a strong passion and interest for both sport and the strength and conditioning field and loves working with athlete's to optimise performance and help them reach their full potential. Outside of RAD and the Rebels, Isaac plays football for Bungaree and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Caitlin completed a Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science before pursuing a career in physiotherapy. Upon completion of study she began working in private practice in Ballarat before moving to RAD in 2024. Caitlin is also working as a physiotherapist with the GWV Rebels Coates Talent League team. She is currently undergoing her Masters of Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy as well as ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach accreditation. Caitlin has an interest in lower limb injuries, particularly the knee and ankle. When not at RAD, Caitlin enjoys playing netball and tennis, or hanging out with friends and her dog Harvey.
Jane Mason

Remedial Massage Therapist

Jane completed a Diploma of Myotherapy in 2015 after having worked as a personal trainer and remedial massage therapist for a number of years. Jane has a strong interest in the assessment, treatment and management of sporting injuries. Jane enjoys seeing clients obtain success resulted by gaining pain free movement and mobility.
Outside of work Jane enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children on their small farm at navigators where they have cattle, a few sheep and some chooks.

Nick started at The RAD in 2021 as an Intern whilst studying a Bachelor of High Performance at ACU in Fitzroy before moving into a fully-fledged RAD employee in 2022. Nick is passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential post-injury with a key emphasis on rehabilitation both physically and mentally. Whilst working at RAD Nick has continued working as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at GWV Rebels where he has been since 2021. When Nick isn’t coaching at the RAD and Rebels you might find him playing Football, Cricket or Ice Hockey.
